Um...hooray for the zaibatsu? *sigh*
I am always depressed by the arguments of industries making their living by harvesting some species of animal or plant against conservation and decreased quotas. "None of the [fisheries] commissioners want to come back home and say 'I have saved bluefin tuna but I have ruined my fishing industry'," says Fonteneau. Yeah, but keep overfishing the bluefin (or whatever), and soon there will be no more of it, ever, and then your industry will collapse completely and permanently. The shortsightedness is so infuriating. Yes! Of course! "three diamonds" tuna. Look at the can! it's the same three diamonds. They sold tuna first; the cars came much later. Why you're right. Amazed that I never noticed it before, and it was right under my nose.
